Because cappings are fresh wax built by the bees to seal in honey, this wax has never been treated with chemicals or hive medications. We simply melt and boil the cappings with water to gently filter out any stray honey or propolis, leaving behind a pure, soft butter-yellow bar with a natural, gentle honey scent.
