Introducing Demetrius, (follower of Demeter) our new collection of artisan-made soap bars.
Demetrius Soaps is a simple and humble collection of bar soaps yet so spiritually touching.
Representing the self-sufficiency, Demeter, the root name for “Dumitra” (our founder's grandmother) from the Olympian Goddess of fertility, harvest and agriculture presiding over the crops, grains, food, and fertility of the Earth.
The collection is exclusively inspired and dedicated to their grandmother’s craft of soap making. A homage we pay to her name, crafts and to her soap bar recipes passed down from generation to generation, which we closely follow.
- Demetrius was created by exploring my emotions and expressing my feelings which I converted into a palpable memory, reminiscing my childhood. In all our collections, Stone Age London encaptures nostalgic, comforting scents, echoing a journey of good memories, through scent, light and fire.
